WHAT IS NEXT?
Salvation or deliverance or redemption, is the "saving of human beings from death and separation from God" by Christ's death and resurrection. It is not from yourself or anything you've done, but the gift of
God.” Salvation, therefore, is a gift of grace from God. When a person accepts the gift of salvation (Jesus Christ as Exclusive Savior), he or she is said to be justified — made acceptable before (or made right with) God.
Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
2 Corinthians 5:21 “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”
At TPHFW Our Baptism class is based on the lifestyle of a Believer in Jesus. While the water may not hold any magic or mystery, the symbolizations speak volumes. Baptism is the outward expression of an inward commitment. Scripture likens Baptism to us being buried with Christ and raised with Him in new life.
" If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."- Romans 10:9
Water baptism by immersion soon after accepting Christ as personal Savior, is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life.
At TPHFW We believe that belief in Jesus is essential and vital to your own wellbeing. After confessing Jesus as your Lord, the next step is to be baptized. You’ll join a class to learn more about the core principles of Baptism and following Jesus – followed by the baptism itself.
“Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.” –
